2149 Parkwood-Albert Blair Home
 
The Albert Blair Home, 2149 Parkwood Avenue, was constructed in 1888 at the southwest corner of Bancroft Street and Parkwood Avenue.  It was extensively remodeled in the 1920s.  According to the 1900 Polk City Directory, Albert Blair was with the Bliar Coal Company.  By 1910, his son Albert Jr. was the secretary of the A. G. Blair Mining Company.  The domesitc in 1910 was Sarah Kilkenny.
