1912 was the construction year for the house at 2707 Parkwood according to the Lucas County Auditor's records.  Both the 1918 and the 1921 city directories listed Fred Froehlich as the resident.  Mr. Froehlich was the president of the Froehlich & Emery Engineering Company.  His biography appeared in Toledo & Lucas County Vol. 3 on page 347.  His wife was Bertha (Kern) Froehlich.  Frederick and Joseph Froehlich were their sons.  2709 Parkwood was listed as vacant in the 1912 directory.
