346 Winthrop was home to the Henry Hewitt family, formerly of 440 Bancroft, by 1910.  Mr. Hewitt was the vice-president of the Church & McConnell Company.  Students  Marion Hewitt and Florence Hewitt along with Isabell Hewitt boarded here.  Henry Truesdall lived here according to the 1918 and 1921 Polk city directories.  Mr. Truesdall was the president of the Union Savings Bank and the vice-president of the Northern National Bank, and secretary of the Standard Steel Tube Company.  The 1921 directory listed student Burdick Truesdall as a roomer.
