The Lucas County Auditor's records listed the construction year of 625 Tennyson Place as 1909.  The 1918 and 1921 city directories listed Robert Ewing as the occupant of 625 Tennyson Place.  Mr. Ewing was in the real estate and insurance business with his office in the Nicholas Building.  John B. Breyman Jr. and his wife Margaret Breyman Jr. lived at 625 Tennyson in 1924.  Mr. Breyman Jr. was the secretary of the Oxford Varnish Corporation.
