625 Stratford Place appeared in this circa 1937 view.  The home was built in 1910 for $4,000 by the Wiltsie Realty Company.  The 1912 directory listed Edward Evans as the resident.  By 1918 the house was the residence of William Welles, the secretary and treasurer of the Welles-Bowen Realty Company.  His wife was Henrietta (goeeman) Welles.   Mary Johnson, the widow of A. C. Johnson, lived here next according to the 1921 directory.  Lottie Johnson, a bookkeeper, roomed here in 1918.  Walter Jefferey and his wife Gertrude Jefferey lived here in 1924.  Mr. Jefferey was the president and treasurer of the Eastern Torpedo of Ohio Company.
