2311 Rosewood was listed for sale by the Jones-Knepper-Kinnison Company in 1913.  Charles Wenzel, a teacher at Central HIgh School, lived here between 1904 and 1910.  Lucy Probst was the resident between 1914 and 1929.  Th house was demolished to vacate the land for the construction of the expressway.
