The June 30, 1910 issue of the Toledo News-Bee contained an advertisement by Williams & Palmer for your choice of a new home at  2912 or 2916  Parkwood Place available "cheap."  The prospective buyer could pick up the keys to view the two houses from 2907 Parkwood Place.  Harold Ferrin, a draftsman, lived at 2912 Parkwood Place (now Rockwood Place) in 1911.  Authur Ferrin, also a draftsman,  boarded here.  By 1918, the home at now-2912 Rockwood Place was the residence of Frank Butler who was with the Willys-Overland Company.  He and his wife Luella Butler still lived here in 1924.  Mr. Butler had become an electrician with LaSalle & Koch.
