The September 5, 1914 issue of the Toledo News-Bee reported that Floyd Crandell, the president and treasurer of Ramsom & Randolph Company would build a house at 2245 Putnam for the sum of $6, 250.  The 1918 city directory listed Mr. Crandell as the occupant of that house.
