3012 Fulton was the home of Edward C Lemke, a clerk with the post office, according to the 1918 and 1921 Polk city directories.  His wife was Helen Lemke and according to the 1920 Census they had a 6 year-old daughter Jane Lemke.  North Carolina-born Herbert Synder was a lodger in the Lemke's home.
