The 1910, 1911 and 1918 Polk city directories listed the occupant of 616 Chatham Court as George Winters of Winters & Clark which sold real estate and insurance from their office in the Ohio Building.  Cylon Wallace and his wife Bertha Wallace lived here next according to the 1921 and 1924 city directories.  In 1918 Mr. Wallace was the department manager of the Toledo R & L Company while in 1921 his occupation was listed as the department manager of the T. E. Company.  The 1918 directory listed Nadine Winters as a roomer in this home.
