2627 Glenwood was home to J. Franklin Holmes, an assistant chief and clerk with R. M. S., according to the 1910 city directory.  Edward McGettigan of McGettigan Cartage & Storage Company, lived here in 1918.  Edwin McGettigan, a clerk; James McGettigan; and Jane McGettigan roomed in this home.  Russell Clevenger, a salesman, lived here in 1921and 1924.  His wife was Laura Clevenger.  George Shirley, also a salesman, roomed in 1921.
