2256 Glenwood was home to Jacques Weil of S. E. Weil Company according to the 1918 and the 1921 city directories.  S. E. Weil Company, located at 26-30 Huron Street, sold fruits and vegetables.  The 1918 directory listed Helen Weil as a roomer.
