2533 Glenwood was constructed in 1903 according to the Lucas County Auditor's records.  Henry Crane who worked for the Toledo Blade was listed as the resident of 2533 Glenwood in both the 1910 and 1918 Polk city directories.  In 1910, Marjorie and Jeanette Crane were both students who boarded here.  The 1921 directory listed Frank McNerney who was a physician with an office in the Colton Building.
