The 1900, 1910 and 1912 Polk city directories listed William Metcalf as the resident of 2344 Glenwood. Lucille Metcalf and Harriet Cummins were  boarders during that time.  In 1900, the live-in domestic was Mary Cavanaugh. The 1912 directory listed Frank Stranahan.  Mr. Stranahan was the treasurer of the Campion Spark Plug Company.  By the time of the 1918 publication, George Sinclair was the occupant of this home.  He was the president of the Sinclair Manufacturing Company.  Helen Sinclair was a roomer.
