2456 Glenwood was home to Roswell Messinger who was treasurer of the Toledo Tinware Company according to the 1900 Polk City Directory.  The 1910 directory listed Lauren Croy, an insurance agent, and by 1918, he was a sales manager with the Grentham Realty Company.  Harold Croy boarded here in 1910.  The 1921 directory listed John Davis of Davis & Mundy.
