Designed by architect Louis Welker and built at a cost of $3,500 in 1892, 2121 Glenwood was home in 1896 to Martin Daly, the manager of the Northwest Ohio Natural Gas Company.  The 1910 directory listed James McMahon whose biography appeared in Toledo & Lucas County Vol. 2 on page 88.  James Boyd, an attorney, whose biography and photograph appeared in Toledo & Lucas County Vol. 3 on page 614, was the occupant by 1918.  Susan (Adams) Boyd was his wife.
