Architect Manfred Stophlet   

 

   THE ARCHITECTURE OF MANFRED STOPHLET

Manfred Stophlet was born in 1876 and passed away in 1939 in his home at 2273 Maplewood.  He studied with George Mills, Harry Wachter, E. O. Fallis, and Bacon & Huber.  His partner was his brother Mark.  Their firm was Stophlet and Stophlet.  Manfred and his wife Emma had two children, Robert and Richard.  Mark and his wife Grace lived at 2612 Maplewood.  They had one son John Stophlet.
