2040 Robinwood was vacant according to the 1911 city directory, but was occupied in 1912 by Horace Allen, the general passenger agent for the Maumee Valley Railway & Light Company.  George Colton was the resident according to the 1918 directory.  Mr. Colton was with the Massuchusettes Mutual Life Insurance Company.  George Colton roomed here that year.  The 1921 Polk City Directory listed Margaret Cox, the widow of Charles Cox, as the occupant of this home.
