By 1900 the Polk City Directory listed George Metzger home as the resident of the former Milburn mansion.  Mr. Metzger was the president of the Toledo Stove & Range Company.  Homer Metzger of the same address served as the vice-president of that firm in later years.  The 1900 city directory listed Burt Cunningham was a laborer boarding on the Metzger property. The 1910 city directory listed Margaret Garbers as the live-in domestic. The home was demolished in 1963.
