The 1891 Polk City Directory listed the resident of 1825 Collingwood as Edward Brown of E. O. Brown & Company.  By the 1900 Polk City Directory, his widow Weltha Brown boarded at 2131 Collingwood.  James Brown Bell, the secretary and treasurer of the Toledo Glass Company, lived here in 1900.  His son James Brown Bell III boarded here.
