2921 Collingwood

2921 Collingwood was the home of Harry Kelsey according to the 1891, 1900, 1910 and 1921 Polk city directories.  His father Joel Kelsey lived here and John Kelsey boarded here in 1900. First as a bookkeeper with Bostwick, Braun & Company in 1891, Harry Kelsey became the treasurer of that firm by the 1900 Polk city directory's publication.  Mr. Kelsey's biography appeared in Toledo & Lucas County Vol. 2 on page 11.   His wife was Eleanor (Kline) Kelsey.  Eloise Kelsey and Florence Kelsey boarded here in 1910.  Rose Pollanski served the family as a live-in domestic in 1910 while Mrs. Kate Hahn and Elizabeth Balis were the domestics for this family in 1921.
