2009 Collingwood-George Milmine Home

This 1907 view of 2009 Collingwood (now 2001) shows the George Milmine home before its transformation in 1917.  The 1880 Census listed merchant Mr. Milmine, his wife Emma and their children Charles and Rose along with maid Lizzie Horboen, cook Frony Brunner and coachman John Hanna.  According to the 1891 directory, Mr. Davis and Laviana Colburn, his sister-in-law and widow of Warren, lived here.  Lizzie Driscoll was the maid.  John Meinert was listed in the 1900 directory as the coachman but by 1910 was the family chauffeur.  Bessie Eckert was the cook in the early 1910s.
